Join Parks & Trails New York, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the Department of Environmental Conservation, on September 18–19, 2026, in Lake George for the biennial statewide Friends Conference.

Whether you are a seasoned Park & Trail Partnership Grant recipient or a first-time applicant, this conference offers the perfect occasion to strengthen your organization, connect with seasoned volunteers and professionals, and celebrate our state’s natural and historical legacy.

All organizations that are eligible for the Park & Trail Partnership Grants are welcome to attend the Friends Gathering.
